

Perhaps you’ve read C. S. Lewis’ tale of the creation of Narnia, a world sung into being by the great lion, Aslan. Lewis invites his reader to join Polly and Digory, the first two children from our world, who cross over into it. Their discovery of a path between the worlds takes place on a day when the weather prevents them from playing outside. It’s one of the great indoor adventure tales of literature.
More of us are beginning to take our reading adventures outdoors these days – to the porch, patio, park bench, or poolside. An early vacation allowed for several outdoor reading adventures which I pass along as an annual offering and with the hope you’ll be sharing your summer reading adventures with me. Here goes:
