As Lead Office Assistant, a position she has held since January 2006, Nancy Jo provides clerical and administrative support to the pastoral and program staff and key church leaders.

She provides administrative assistance to Church Business Administrator Jim Martin, leads the front office team and helps make visitors and members feel welcome.

Nancy Jo, a graduate of Alma College in Alma, Michigan, has a degree in elementary education. She is a member of Saint Andrew Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis. Her grandfather and uncle were Disciples of Christ ministers, and her father was a Presbyterian minister.

She is single and has three grown children – all born in Hawaii where she lived for several years – four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. She worked for the Indiana 4-H Foundation for 25 years as Director of Operations. She is an avid reader and enjoys traveling by train whenever she finds the time.
