One of two Nancys to currently work at North Church,  Nancy Jo provides administrative assistance to the Pastor of Stewardship and Administration and leads the front office team of staff and volunteers who help make visitors and members feel welcome.

 She schedules building rooms for all events, classes and weddings and is responsible for production of the Happenings publication as well as other special projects.   A graduate of Alma College in Alma, Michigan, Nancy Jo has a degree in elementary education.  She is a member of Saint Andrew Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis.  She comes from a family of ministers – her grandfather and uncle were Disciples of Christ ministers and her father was a Presbyterian minister. 

Her three grown children were all born in Hawaii where she lived for several years and she’s added four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter to her family.  Before coming to North Church, she worked for the Indiana 4-H Foundation for 25 years as Director of Operations.   She is an avid reader and enjoys traveling by train whenever she finds the time.
